In the experimental environment,only one serial port is used
channel for the communication between baseband processor

not get the hardware resource to work.So it would cause resources
conflict.To
solve that problem,it takes the advantage of multiplexing protocol
and
produces some virtual data link
channels.And
a
new multiplexing radio interface
layer is constructed using those virtual data link
channels.The
multiplexing radio
interface layer is to complete the communication between hardware and It is actually
a
applications. and
hardware abstraction layer.In the implementation,many protocols
as
standards will be used,such
AT command set,short message service specification,
and point to point protoc01.According to the above baseband
protocols and
the feature of the application
processor,the
implementation
will
modify
the telephony
framework,and improve the multiplexing radio interface layer'SO as to complete the communication between the baseband
processor
and
the
system.The
system
validation shows that the phone,made by the way in this thesis,works correctly,and
can
make calls,receive calls,send SMS,receive SMS and handle GPRS data services.
